Like most people, I've suffered from self-doubt. I've often doubted my abilities to succeed and I've feared that failing would result in shame or embarrassment. I've wondered if I was good enough to get the job, get the promotion, get the girl. So many times, I felt like I didn't deserve what was being given to me.

But, more than anything else, I always felt like I was never good enough. I never felt worthy of the things that were happening in my life. My self-worth was crippled by how badly others had treated me, and by how poorly my life had gone since childhood.
