About This Quote

The Inca Empire was one of the most powerful empires in the world during the 15th century. It stretched from Colombia to Chile, and included parts of Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and parts of Argentina. The great Incan leader, Pachacuti, led the Inca into some of their greatest conquests. One of these conquests was the downfall of the mighty Inca Empire’s nemesis, the Aztec empire.

To do this, Pachacuti had his generals put themselves in the mindset of their enemy. They were to think of the Aztecs as lazy and slow-witted, which is exactly what they were. This mindset brought them victory.
