It was then that Marvin got religion. Not the quiet, personal kind, that involves doing good deeds and living a better life; not even the kind that involves putting on a suit and ringing' people's doorbells; but the kind that involves having your own TV network and getting people to send you money. About This Quote

In the movie, The Blues Brothers, Jake and Elwood Blues are two brothers from Chicago who drive to New York with the intention of finding a man who can cure their brother's cancer. In the end, they find this man in a very unusual place: a church. Upon entering the church, they discover that this "priest" has one of the most popular Christian television channels in America and has been giving away more than $20 million to various charities and charities over the past 10 years. Rather than taking his money and leaving, he invites them to stay and learn about his channel.

After learning about his channel, they realize that it is just what their brother needs for his final days of life. They must become missionaries for him by taking over his channel and turning it into their own. That is, of course, just what they do.
