The Cosmos is all that is or was or ever will be. Our feeblest contemplations of the Cosmos stir us -- there is a tingling in the spine, a catch in the voice, a faint sensation, as if a distant memory, of falling from a height. We know we are approaching the greatest of mysteries. Carl Sagan
About This Quote

Carl Sagan, a popular American astrophysicist, was a brilliant man. He wrote many books that have been made into films and television series. In his book Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, he said that the Universe is a place where everything comes together. Everything has a purpose and a meaning.

We can’t see these meanings, but we know there are some things that are much greater than us. In his book, he calls these entities as “cosmic spirits” or as the "All That Is". He believes that as we grow as humans, we can come to understand these cosmic spirits better and better until we finally come to realize the true meaning of life.
