About This Quote

All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All of these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man's life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom. This quote by Albert Einstein is a true depiction of his beliefs that all of human endeavor is heading towards the same goal: freedom. At this point in time, religious belief has been replaced with science, art and technology. Even our social expectations have changed to be less based on religion and more based on science. The idea that all of human endeavor is heading in one direction towards freedom is a great relief to me when I wonder if I am making progress in my career or not.
