About This Quote

If you’re insecure, you’re constantly worried about what other people think of you. You don’t feel as good as you should and you never feel like you can be your true self. On the other hand, if you aren’t insecure, then you know that no one can tell you who to be and how to be. It takes a lot of courage to not give a shit and just do what makes you happy and what makes you comfortable.

When we care too much about what other people think of us, we become what we might call “stuck up” or arrogant. When we don’t give a shit, we become more humble and more open to new experiences.
