There is a belief that there is a certain amount of silence that we can fill and that if we give it time and fill it up, it won’t be empty anymore. I believe this is not true and that we should embrace the silence and let it fill us up. The emptiness in our lives becomes filled with God’s love when we realize that our silence does not mean we are not communicating with him.
