Religion is a belief system that one belongs to. It can be a specific religion or a combination of religions. For example, I might be a Catholic, but I might also worship at the altar of Zeus or Odin. In each case, I have a religion.
However, faith is different from religion. Faith is the state of having confidence in something without having any evidence to back it up. When you have faith in something, you have no way to prove it’s true or false.
