Borys Bykowski is a Polish poet, essayist, essay writer, translator, biographer, scriptwriter, literary critic. So he is very well educated in the English language. He might have been inspired by this book of prayers called “The Book of 150 Prayers” by Janina Bialek. I am not sure what it means.

The book is in Polish language and if you look at the title you will see that it is an English translation used by the author. I think it has something to do with the fact that this prayer book was used by Janina Bialek while she was recovering from cancer.
