About This Quote

You can’t confuse childlike faith with childish thinking. Childlike faith means you accept the truth, even when it’s not obvious to you. If you have a conversation with someone and they claim that there are no such things as leprechauns, ghosts, or fairies, for instance, you can still believe in their existence. This is because if they were telling the truth, then there really isn’t any evidence to refute it and yet you know the person isn’t lying to you. Childlike faith is when you believe in something even when there is no evidence to support it.
