Looks like what drives me crazy Don't have no effect on you-- But I'm gonna keep on at it Till it drives you crazy, too.

About This Quote

The line “Looks like what drives me crazy, don't have no effect on you--But I'm gonna keep on at it til it drives you crazy, too” was written by the American songwriter Jimmy Webb in 1970. The song is an example of an older man telling a younger man that if he’s lucky enough to get the girl, he’ll get her to fall in love with him. The older man says that whatever looks to be holding her back doesn’t really amount to anything at all. The words are used to make the point that if you want something badly enough, nothing can stop you from getting it.
