Rich people are often the ones who are the most likely to say that they want to end poverty. I am not saying that rich people do not care about poverty. I am saying that more of them don’t actually think of themselves as poor. They are more likely to consider themselves rich by the standards of their own community, which is more likely to be middle class or above.
