The first time I read this quote I was so baffled. The first time I was reading this quote I couldn't understand what he meant by it. Later on, when I was thinking about it more, I realized that the beetle man is the representation of death. The beetle man represents death just like the doctor's bag represents death. Uncle Montague had some good words for us to remember the seriousness of death and that we should not forget about it.
