About This Quote

This is a quote taken from the movie, "Juno." The movie itself, is about a girl who was adopted by her aunt Juno at the age of 7. She grows up not knowing that her real mother had died. Her father, however, is not the man she believes him to be. He does not want to be part of his daughter's life so he tells her that he has another family.

This new family feeds her with lies and gets her to believe that she has no real connection with either of them. When she finally discovers the truth, she is still living with this lie and is confused about what it means to be part of a family.
