We must strive to be at our best in every aspect of our lives so that when we leave this world, it will be remembered with fondness and admiration rather than pity and contempt.
We must work tirelessly towards making the world a better place than when we entered it. Everything else falls away in comparison to this truth: we are here for such a short time—a time so short compared with eternity—and yet it is here where everything matters most. We can never look upon ourselves past this moment because if we do, then what is there left worth remembering? There is only now.
