Oh, brothers! I don't care for brothers. My elder brother won't die, and my younger brothers seem never to do anything else.

Oscar Wilde
About This Quote

In this quotation, from William Shakespeare's Hamlet , Othello sings his frustration with his elder brother, Iago. Iago is a manipulator and a back-stabber, and so Othello is determined to get rid of him. He keeps Iago around only because he is useful to him. But he also complains about Iago being a bad influence on his "younger brothers."
