About This Quote

Valentine is an artist who has taken her own life. She once believed that her art could only come from the things that make her happy and hope. She learned that art can be found in all of life, even in pain. The idea of “pain” is something that she must have struggled with to find the strength to continue with her art.

She had to battle with the idea that she could not create something beautiful because her body was weak and unable to produce beautiful colors. However, she finally decided to take the advice of a friend who told her, “Pain is beauty.”
