You can be a great man and still be a fool. Many of our country’s leaders can attest to that. Were they still living.

About This Quote

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was a very deep thinker when it came to writing down his thoughts? In fact, he really liked to write down his philosophies and thoughts, but they were far from what you would expect from a great leader. Even John F. Kennedy was caught doing the same thing when he was in high school. He used to write down his thoughts on a piece of paper and then rip them up.

It wasn’t until he became a presidential candidate that he realized what a great man he could be if he actually wrote his thoughts down. He realized that if he had been able to do this when he was young, then maybe his success wouldn’t have been so hard fought. He also realized that others would benefit from his writing them down, so that's why he wrote them down in the first place.
