When the story starts, the atmospheric conditions on Earth are perfect for life. Then, in a flash, they change forever when a massive storm begins and nearly everything and everyone is destroyed. During this storm, the main character is living with his girlfriend and friend in a small cabin in the wilderness. His girlfriend died during the storm and he is alone with his friend.
