About This Quote

The sentence that the man said: “There are three kinds of people: those who don't know and don't know they don't know.” What the man said was very true. People who think they know everything and those who do not think they know anything are both wrong. Anyway, this is a famous line in which the meaning is not clear yet. It may mean that people are divided into three different groups. The first group which does not know anything is necessary to the second group that does not know that it does not knows anything, thus, it makes it possible for the third group to survive without knowing anything.
