If you can’t forget about all the great pains you’ve endured, as many of us can’t, at least take some time to celebrate the fact that you’ve somehow kept going, in spite of it all. And you’ve certainly kept growing, because of it all.

About This Quote

On the day I was diagnosed with cancer, it felt like my life was over. I felt like my future as a writer and as a person to those I love was gone. But as I battled through this cancer and all of the emotions that came with it, I found that all of the pain and worry was not going to stop me. It made me stronger and it made me more determined than ever to continue on and learn from this experience.

I found that to be strong and determined enough to go through cancer can be an incredible gift. The ability to keep going is something we must all possess in order for us to survive. When we think we have no more fight left in us, we can find our strength in remembering this pain and continue on.
