He was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. His face was slightly covered by his hoodie and he had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. He was walking down the street and I saw him and couldn't help but stare.

He looked like someone who knew everything and could easily fix anything and everything in this world that was wrong with it, if he just smiled enough times at it. When that man smiled everyone else cheered him on but when they saw him frown they would walk away with their heads downcast in shame. It wasn't long before I realized that this man was my new hero and the only way to be like him was to smile even when there was nothing to smile about, because if we all smiled we would be able to lift ourselves out of our negative state and become something better than we were before.

That's when I decided to be more like him and every day see what I could do to make myself a better person than I was before.
