Dejan StojanovicTo sense the peace of extinguished passion Happiness in not knowing the ultimate knowledge
About This Quote
The two statements I have chosen to share with you tonight, "To sense the peace of extinguished passion" and "Happiness in not knowing the ultimate knowledge", are both from the works of Haiku, a Japanese form of poetry. In this form, poems are usually three or five lines long. A haiku always has a truth-telling element to it, as the poet is trying to express something about life that can be understood instantly. This is a poetic type that I feel very drawn to.
