However, the idea that we should go into battle with our happiness on our side is still an important one. When we’re excited about something, even if it means suffering at its hands, we tend to do really well. We can be excited while still doing our best and trusting in the process.
It’s not necessarily easy, because there are always risks involved, but it’s often rewarding when we do make it through. By surrendering to happiness, we don’t lose out on anything valuable in life, but rather risk losing out on less than because we were too focused on what was making us happy at the time.
