Suffering sucks. Don't do it. Go home and love your wife. Go home and love yourself. Go homeand base your happiness on one thing and one thing only: freedom. Choose freedom, not suffering. Create a life of freedom, not wanting. Have some really good coffee and listen to the red-winged blackbirds in the marsh. Ignore the mosquitoes. Laura Munson
About This Quote

It is important to recognize that suffering sucks. However, it doesn't suck as much as people make it out to be. Think of the most painful thing you've ever experienced, like a divorce or losing a job. Even though it sucked, you didn't sit around and think about it for ten years.

You got over it and got on with life. You don't have to suffer; you can choose freedom. If you experience something bad, ask yourself if you want to suffer through that again.

If the answer is no, then choose freedom. A choice of freedom or suffering is always within our control.
