There are a few moments in your life when you are truly and completely happy, and you remember to give thanks. Even as it happens you are nostalgic for the moment, you are tucking it away in your scrapbook.

About This Quote

I do not know the exact date of this quote, but I believe it was written as a response to a letter from Mahatma Gandhi. Most of us have those “once-in-a-lifetime” events that we remember and cherish forever. We also know those moments when we are sad and disappointed and we wish we could go back and fix what we did or said. As for me, I always try to make sure that I am always grateful for those moments in life where I am truly happy.
