There are several resources from which one can get started on the way to becoming a great writer. The first resource is a creative writing class. Not only will this help you learn proper grammar and spelling, it will also teach you the art of creative writing.

The second resource is a book on the grammar and usage of English called The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr and E. B. White.
