About This Quote

When we put so much value on perfection and set so many expectations for ourselves, we end up feeling disappointed. In other words, we can end up feeling as if we’ve failed if we don’t live up to those expectations. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t any things that might be wrong with us. It just means that those things are natural and should be acknowledged rather than denied or suppressed.

No one is perfect. That’s a good thing because it means that we have something to work on and improve upon.
