The more you try to please people, the more they get control of you and you'll end up hurting yourself. Once upon a time, there was a king who was very much in love with his queen. The king tried his best to please his queen and it made the queen very happy. But one day the queen decided that she didn’t like anything about her husband’s country.
So, without telling anyone, she went to live somewhere else. The king was miserable at first but soon he became very happy because now he could do as he pleased without worrying about pleasing this woman whom he had once really loved. One day the king was having a party and invited all of his friends and neighbors who were important to him.
Before long, everybody began to talk about this terrible king and how he treated his poor subjects like slaves and how he was making them sad and unhappy by demanding perfection from them all.
