I'll always want him. Until every sun goes dark in every sky, until I am nothing more than long-forgotten cosmic dust, I will want him. And even then I suspect my particles will long for his.

About This Quote

When I read this, my heart goes out to her. I am sure she does not want to be someone who is only in love with him and not herself. She wants to be more than her own person and yet, even after all of these years, I can see that longing in her eyes. That does not mean that she will stop loving him or that she will not love him anymore.

In fact, that desire is one of the things that keeps her alive. It keeps her from forgetting the reason why she fell in love with him in the first place, from forgetting who he is and what a wonderful person he is.
