About This Quote

The dictionary defines "not leaving" as "an act of trust and love, often deciphered by children." I think that's not correct. Leaving implies that you don't love any more. Leaving suggests that you are running away from something, in the brain of the child this is not the case. Leaving says to walk away when it's obvious that your loved one needs your help. Not leaving means to give up when you know your loved one needs your help.
