About This Quote

Sometimes you weren't supposed to share pain. Sometimes it was best just to deal with it alone. This was in reference to the death of her father in a motorcycle accident in which she was in the ambulance with him when he died in front of her eyes. She was only 14 years old at the time, and when she shared the story, she said that she told herself, “You can’t tell anyone this because no one will understand.” This quotation is also in reference to when her mother passed away six months later.

She went through all of this before she had even hit her teenage years. At that time, she thought that sharing this information would be too much for anyone to handle.
