A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

About This Quote

A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends. If you live your life in a way that others are willing to support you, they become your friends. A fool, on the other hand, is always looking for friends who will support him no matter how foolish he is. The best example of this is when a child is given negative feedback by a parent.

A wise parent will actually take that feedback to heart and do the right thing. A fool will say that he or she is fine with it and act like it never happened.
