If we are to be a family, we must be forgiving. In this verse, Paul encourages us to forgive each other when we have a disagreement or when someone has hurt or offended us. As Christians, we believe in the love of God and in the forgiveness of Christ. He forgave people who were wronged by him and asked for our forgiveness when he was on the cross.

If we truly believe in the love of God and in Christ’s sacrifice on the cross that our sins can be forgiven, then we should also forgive others who have hurt us. We don’t have to look for a reason to forgive but rather look for an opportunity to forgive.
