In the postmodern era, man is faced with a loss of faith as he struggles to find answers to the mysteries of life. In order for man to find answers, he must have faith. Ironically, this is not born from religious belief but from a denial of those beliefs. Postmodern man denies God at first but then finds a way to fill the void by filling his head with a myriad of information and trivialities.

Postmodern man is easily tricked into spending all his time doing things that have nothing to do with the meaning of life. When one denies that God exists, he tends to become unsure about his own existence and becomes more concerned about filling his head with information than anything else.
