About This Quote

For some reason, this has always been my favorite quote ever. "What you do for others, God will do for you" is a motivational phrase that I have used to get me out of bed in the morning many times. It makes no sense to me why it has resonated with so many people. It's not about being generous or kind or giving something of value to others.

It's just about helping people who are less fortunate than yourself. The idea of God doing things for you is interesting to me because it seems to be the idea that God is the one who does the work for you. For example, if God works in someone's life that person won't have to work hard at anything or turn to any outside sources for help or guidance.

The person will be able to understand things on their own and they will be able to make good decisions based on their own opinions and feelings.
