About This Quote

The story goes, that one day Muhammad asked the crowd what they would like to hear. They requested that he sing to them about his favourite subject, Ali bin Abi Talib (Ali, The Lion of God). Muhammad complied and started singing the song about Ali. As he sang, his voice broke and tears flowed down his face.

He said “This is the music I make when I remember you, O Ali. When I hear this tune my heart is filled with happiness again.”
