Religion is not about how much faith you have. It’s about who your faith is in. That’s a key distinction. If Christianity is a relationship, then it makes no sense to talk about what you “have” or how “much” of a relationship you have with Jesus Christ.

Instead, it makes more sense to talk about what Jesus Christ has done for you and how you can do that same thing for others. James wrote that “faith without works is dead” because you need to put your faith into action in order for it to mean anything at all.
