About This Quote
This quote is taken from the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. He speaks of the two roads that are in front of him, one to his left and one to his right. Knowing that these two roads are the only two he possibly can take, he must decide which path he will take. The road on his right has a more "tempting" look to it, but he knows that his life will be better on the road on his left.
Unfortunately, he does not take that road. He decides that he will take the road on his left, but when he gets there, he realizes that this is not what he wants at all. He realizes that the road on his left was not really what was best for him at all.
His choice might have been good for someone else, but it wasn't good for him.
