The phrase “No one has the right to take another person's life” is not acceptable in times of war. When people go to war they do so because they see it as the only alternative to protecting themselves, their families, and their country. The idea of having no conscience in war is absurd. It’s preposterous. It’s impossible for me to imagine that anything other than a war that took place in my own backyard would be without any moral restraints.
