To me this quote is a way of expressing how America's intellectual community has been brainwashed and taught to think their way. They consider no one as an enemy and if you disagree with them they will try to attack you by making you feel inferior and not worth mentioning at all. They will make you believe that they are the smartest people and even if you try to show them errors, they will always attack and insult you and attack your ideas. They consider everyone as inferior and if someone dares to disagree with them they will attack him or her by making him feel weak and useless.
