In the movie, The Matrix , Neo's mentor, Morpheus, tells Neo that when he is in a dream world, he is not in a dream world. He explains that there are two different realities: the dream world and the real world. In the real world, you have all of your senses and in the dream world, there is only an illusory sense of feeling or sight. Morpheus then goes on to say that our true nature is one of innocence and freedom to choose how we live.
