I stood there, watching her. The whole world was a dream, I realized. Everyone was acting in a bad soap opera. The whole world was one big FOX TV show.

About This Quote

The world may seem like a dream to the average person, but that dream is broken down into different parts. For an artist, who is creating a piece of art, there can be a lot of different worlds represented in a piece of art. For example, if one were to create a piece of art that was a depiction of a fight between two characters from different worlds, there would be many worlds represented in that same piece of art. In the same way, as humans we exist as individuals, as members of a family or as members of society.

But those individual people exist within the world as well. They have their own dreams and goals which they want to achieve within their lifetime. Each person has their own life and experiences and each part of their life is like a separate episode within the larger soap opera called life.
