And now you’ve just played God, without declaring yourself as God. This quote is going to be a bit controversial because I think that it kind of talks about people who force their beliefs on others even if those beliefs aren’t true and aren’t what they want to hear. It also talks about people who start a religion with a false story even though they know it is false.
It is definitely a bit of a gray area but I have been thinking about this quote for a while now and feel like the author is saying that if someone really wants something bad enough they can change their mind even if it means rewriting history and replacing the truth with their own ideas.
