About This Quote

In his book, The Biggest Secret , Dr. John Hagelin describes how the universe is self-organizing and self-reproducing. He describes how life can spontaneously arise from non-life through something called quantum tunneling . One of the key concepts that he discusses in this book is that of creation from nothingness .

He shows how this process can be modeled using a simple equation. In essence, he has shown how a universe can pop into existence from nothingness. However, what is it that makes a person insist so passionately on the existence of metaphysical realities that can be neither demonstrated nor refuted? What is it that drives them to do this?
