Why do some people stop growing at age 30, just going from work to the couch and television, when others stay vibrant, curious, almost childlike into their nineties?

About This Quote

The answer is simple, they were not taught to stop growing. They were taught to stop growing at age 30. It’s a sad fact that many people stop growing after they reach the age of thirty. Many people who think they have reached the age of thirty have not reached their true potential.

They have not achieved their full potential because they were never taught to take risks, nor were they taught how to gain new skills and become more knowledgeable. Once you have reached your 30th year, you should be taking more risks and learning new things every day. Of course there are exceptions, but for most grown-ups who have been around for a while, this is a problem that needs to be addressed.
