About This Quote

The first time I read this quote, it took on a whole new meaning. I thought about how I feel alone and always will be. A few years ago, I watched some old movies and some of the actors were pretty lonely. Like, I’m not saying they were depressed or anything but they seemed like they had a lot of loneliness in their lives.

Then, I realized that some of them were some of the most talented actors and actresses of our time. That made me stop and think that maybe we aren’t all that different from them. Not only that but that maybe we need to be more comfortable with our own loneliness and not rely on others to fill our emptiness.

It’s nice to have someone to talk too and spend time with but we should know who we are by ourselves and what makes us happy. We shouldn’t let other people’s opinions dictate how we should be.
