This means that you should never listen to people who have an opinion about something because you can’t really be sure what they are thinking. For example, if you think that there are clouds in the sky and your friend tells you that there aren’t any clouds in the sky and she has an opinion about it, then she may be wrong but so is your friend who thinks that no clouds in the sky and you would both be equally wrong and therefore it wouldn’t matter which one was right and which was wrong because you would both be wrong about it.
