You do not know what is better before you have tried what is worse.

About This Quote

You do not know what is better before you have tried what is worse. It’s the same way in life. Before you go out there, you can either try to find out what is better or try to find out what is worse. If you don’t try anything, you will never know anything.

You may think that what you are doing now is still good, but if you don’t try it, then it won’t be good for you. For example, think of the typical person who is very healthy and eats well. They will say that they are healthy and that they eat well, but they don’t test the food they eat.

They only test their health by seeing how it feels when they are sick, but they never test the food they eat to see if it really makes them feel sick. So why don’t they test it? Well, they are afraid to test it because they are so comfortable with themselves at this moment. But one day when something happens and they get sick and feel awful, then maybe they will start testing their food again and see if it really makes them sick all the time as opposed to just occasionally.
