About This Quote

The truth is always an insult or a joke. We know this to be true with regard to most people. Lies are generally tastier. We love them.

The nature of lies is to please. Truth has no concern for anyone's comfort. Many people tell lies for their own comfort.

They lie because they want to make themselves feel better, or because they want to make others feel bad, or they lie because it feels good. But lying has no basis in reality. It's like eating candy bars, chocolate cake, and ice cream all day long every day of the week - then telling others that you only eat vegetables and fruit for health reasons.

This is false. You can't fool your body into believing that you don't like the things you like just because you think it's good for you.
